During my recent stay at Retelvitez Vendeghaz, I found it an interesting mix of value versus luxury, especially against the backdrop of a Hungarian summer. With temperatures soaring in the high 90s, the air-conditioned rooms were a welcome relief. Equipped with a kitchen, I appreciated having cookware and an electric kettle for quick meals. Spacious and reasonably comfortable, my queen bed set the tone for restful nights. The outdoor picnic areas offered shaded retreats, while the secure parking added peace of mind. Located just a stroll away from the scenic Bodrog River, it was ideal for exploring Rakoczi Castle. The highlight? Their charming one-hour river cruise that's definitely worth considering. Staff were attentive, complementing the thoughtful amenities like free Wi-Fi and garden seating. Retelvitez balances comfort and affordability well, making it a smart choice for visitors looking to blend leisure with local exploration.
